• DeRuyter Lake is a very friendly place to visit, with the General Store across the parking lot and the Boat House Restaurant also on the water, as you can see from the cottage decks. The lake is 2 miles long and a 1/2 mile wide, with an average depth of 15 1/2 feet. Over 50 feet of beachfront to place your plane. A walk around the lake is about 5 miles. You will see boaters launching and area residents coming and going to the General Store for candy, snacks, ice, marine fuel, bait and tackle, and other summer stuff.  Fireworks on the water happen twice a summer, on the Fourth of July and in September for Labor Day weekend.
  • Two identical log cabins side by side, rented separately, called the Bass and Walleye Cottages
  • Cottages overlook the lake from the south shore
  • You step out the door, and you are on the water’s edge
  • Please bring your own pillows, bedding, and bath towels, like you would when camping
  • Hand towels, sponges, dish clothes, dish soap, hand soap, T-paper, and paper towels are provided
  • Camp firewood and kayak rentals are available, just stop by the general store
  • No pets
